Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore,  established in 1964, is one of the premier state universities of Madhya Pradesh, committed to excellence in higher education, research, and innovation. Named after the visionary ruler Maharani Devi Ahilyabai Holkar.

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) Established in 1984, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC), Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, has been at the forefront of media education for over four decades. With a rich tradition of academic excellence, innovation and social commitment, the School has nurtured generations of journalists, communicators, researchers and media professionals who have made significant contributions to the media industry, academia and society.
